Welcome to our blog!

I (Sara) snagged this WP blog name back in summer of 2012, where it languished unused and unloved until November 2015, when a group of us at a workshop in Berlin decided it would be good idea to have some platform for scholars working in medieval logic and semantics (broadly construed) could have a place for posting interesting things related to their workshop — publication and event announcements, interesting thoughts, works in progress, new translations, etc. Currently, we have five contributors, each of whom will introduce themselves over the next few weeks:

  • Graziana Ciola
  • Frederic Goubier
  • Magali Roques
  • Sara L. Uckelman
  • Gustavo Fernández Walker

We are also looking for other contributors; if you work in any area of medieval logic, semantics, grammar, rhetoric, etc., and think you’d occasionally have things you’d like to share, we want this blog to be open to anyone in our community. If you want to join as a contributor, please email me, and I’ll send you an invitation. We especially encourage young scholars, and scholars outside of Europe, to join and contribute!
